iPhone: tap Enable sound once, then Play. Test tone plays a short note independently of all track mutes and mixer settings. If audio stops after a call or returning to Safari, tap Reset audio. Check media volume and your Bluetooth output if the test is silent. The instrument must run as a webpage, not an HTML attachment preview.

Start: Press Play for a preloaded 32-step pattern. Select a track, tap steps to edit, and choose its machine. Patterns A2–A4 contain variations; A5–A8 are blank. Pattern changes queue at the end of the current pattern during playback.

Parameter locks: Turn on Lock mode, select a step, then change any sound slider. Gold values apply only to that step. Clear locks restores the underlying track sound. Note, velocity, probability, microtiming, repeats and conditions are always per step. Microtiming is a fraction of a sixteenth note. Conditions count each track’s loops; Fill uses the Fill button.

Performance: M mutes a track, S solos it. Live rec quantizes pad/keyboard notes to the nearest step while playing. Keyboard: Space play/pause; A W S E D F T G Y H U J play notes; R live record; hold Shift for Fill. Pattern lengths and individual track lengths support polymeters. Chain plays all eight patterns including blanks.

Projects: Edits autosave on this browser when storage is available. Save project downloads a portable JSON backup; Load project restores it. Export WAV renders two loops of the selected pattern plus effect tails. Randomize changes only the selected track sequence. Undo restores the last edit (up to 40).

About: An independent Syntakt-inspired instrument using original Web Audio synthesis, not Elektron firmware or a bit-accurate emulator. 16 engines cover percussion, subtractive, FM, chord and metallic sounds. The LFO has five waveforms and four destinations; modulation is sampled at each trigger. Stay on this tab for reliable timing; mobile browsers can suspend background audio.
